Public Affairs Office

The Public Affairs Office (PAO) is responsible for developing a working relationship with reporters and other media representatives, maintaining a robust community relations program with the local San Antonio community and Military Affairs Committee, keeping contact with other government agencies, and keeping internal and external publics informed on NMFDC issues that may affect them. 

The NMFDC Public Affairs Office is also responsible for working with more than a dozen Sea Service agencies that do not have a local PAO to coordinate local activities during events such as Fiesta and Celebrate America's Military week.
