Patient Administration Course

Description: The Patient Administration Course (PAC) is a three- week resident training course designed to prepare MSC HCA’s in successfully fulfilling their missions as Patient Administration Officers in multiple environments to include fixed medical treatment facilities CONUS/OCONUS, theaters of operation, aboard Navy Hospital ships, or aboard
one our finest Navy vessels as a Medical Administration Officer (MAO) or Medical Regulating Control Officer (MRCO) and EXMED platforms. Secondarily, it is designed to provide senior enlisted personnel and midlevel to senior civilians assigned to Patient Administration areas the knowledge and tools to effectively support the mission of the PAD department and its customers.

Target Audience: Assignment or projected assignment to a Patient Administration position, operational or in an MTF, in the following grades:

MSC/ HCA Active Duty - O1 to O4
MSC Reserves - O1 to O4
Enlisted – E5 to E9
Civilian – GS-06 to GS-11
