Commander, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command

CAPT Marion A. Gregg, MC, USN

CAPT Gregg, a native of Cable, Ohio, attended Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998 and completed his Medical Doctorate in June 2003. He additionally has a Master of Public Health degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Naval Postgraduate School. Following the completion of an Internal Medicine Internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland in 2004, Gregg was selected to attend the Naval Undersea Medical Institute (NUMI) in Groton, Connecticut. After graduating from NUMI in 2005, he reported to Naval Submarine Support Center, New London, Connecticut as the Squadron Undersea Medical Officer. In 2007, Gregg was hand selected and served as the Group Surgeon for Commander Submarine Group TWO in Groton, Connecticut.

Deputy Commander, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command
CAPT Charles R Wilhite

CAPT Charles Wilhite enlisted in the United States Navy in March 1993 and completed recruit training at Recruit Training Command, San Diego, CA. He earned his commission as an Ensign in 2000 through the Health Services Collegiate Program as an Industrial Hygiene Officer. CAPT Wilhite’s sea tours include assignments aboard USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71), USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65), USS EMORY S. LAND (AS-39), President, Board of Inspection and Survey, Norfolk, VA. His shore duties include: Navy Environmental and Preventative Medicine Unit No. 2, Norfolk, VA; Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan; Commander, Submarine Forces Pacific, Pearl Harbor, HI; Naval Personnel Command, Millington, TN; Officer-in-Charge, Navy Environmental and Preventative Medicine No. 6, Pearl Harbor, HI; Commanding Officer, Navy Safety and Environmental Training Command, Norfolk, VA; and currently, Deputy Director, Defense Centers for Public Health, Portsmouth and Deputy Commander, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command, Portsmouth, VA. CAPT Wilhite holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health Sciences, Southern Missouri University. He also holds dual, nationally certifications: Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional. CAPT Wilhite has received numerous personal and campaign awards including the Meritorious Service Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards). CAPT Wilhite is married to Mrs. Caroline Wilhite from Hagerstown, MD. He and his Wife have 4 adult children.

Command Master Chief, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command

HMCM (SW/AW/IW/FMF) Francesco (Frank) J. Maccarelli

Master Chief Maccarelli was born in Brooklyn, New York on 31 July 1977. He entered the Navy on 20 February 1996. After completing boot camp, Hospital Corps "A" School and Field Medical Service School in December 1996, he reported to 3rd Marine Air Wing, El Toro, California.
