Planning for the future is vital to ensuring our public health services and programs remain relevant and deliver value for our warfighters and their families for generations to come.
Sustaining the highest level of warfighting readiness starts with proactively ensuring people and conditions are safe, healthy and mission ready. The NMCPHC strategic plan is the foundation and lens for focusing the command’s people, priorities and limited resources over the next three to five years to improve health and safety for the Navy and Marine Corps community. While many factors impact readiness, NMCPHC strives to sharpen our public health mission to improve force health protection and readiness across the DON. We aim to deliver measurable value through public health action while furthering our ability to help leadership understand and act on public health trends and challenges and, ultimately, increase our influence on decision making within the DON.

The NMCPHC goals and objectives present the actionable and achievable component of the command’s strategy. They describe how NMCPHC will go about executing the mission and strategy. NMCPHC goals and objectives are a critical component of the command’s culture and impact everything we do at NMCPHC on a day-to-day basis.
