We enhance readiness in the Navy and Marine Corps through the prevention of disease and injury by evaluating occupational and environmental health hazards and providing consultative support for their effective assessment, management and communication. We also provide products and services to optimize medical surveillance and help ensure compliance with occupational and environmental regulatory requirements.

Currently, neither mpox testing nor treatment are readily available in a forward deployed operational setting. Units should identify suspected cases, isolate them, and move them for care at an MTF when operationally feasible.
