DRSi SURVEILLANCE TRAINING SERIES

The PPS Department continues to promote the training series provided by our Air Force and Army counterparts.  Participants from all services are eligible to register for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits offered by the U.S. Army Public Health Center; Nurses may use the CME certificate as documentation for nursing CEs.

NMCPHC through our NEPMUs can provide training on an ad hoc and on an as needed basis, to support Navy and Marine Corps specific disease surveillance topics in priority areas.

Obtain Continuing Education Hours

As part of the Tri-service Quarterly Training effort, the U.S. Army Public Health Center offers Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits; Nurses may use the CME certificate as documentation for nursing CEs. To be eligible to earn credits:

1. Register for the Epi-Tech Surveillance Training on the Army CME website for the current year (you only need to register once per fiscal year). 
2. Attend a live Microsoft Teams session.
3. Enter your name, service, email, and command in the chat box of the live session.
4. You will receive confirmation of attendance via email within 48 hours, and you can claim your cumulative credits at the conclusion of the training series (after 30 Sep, not after each training session).
5. To claim your credit(s) for previous years, visit the Army CME website click on the CME User Accounts portal, and follow links to view credits earned/claim certificates.
