060526-N-6463B-003 Atlantic Ocean (May 26, 2006) - Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handler James Hood checks neck measurement of Airman Apprentice Jered Yusten during Physical Fitness assessment (PFA) weigh-in aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Saipan (LHA 2). Saipan is currently underway and will be participating in a multi-national combined exercise with North African and European forces this summer during exercise Phoenix Express. The exercise will provide U.S. and allied forces an opportunity to participate in diverse maritime training scenarios helping to increase maritime domain awareness and strengthen emerging and enduring partnerships.
