JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 5, 2021) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Brian Krawsczyn, of Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Allergy Clinic, conducts allergy testing with a sailor. Krawsczyn, a native of Jefferson, Ohio, says, “For medical readiness, it’s important for sailors to know of any allergic reactions.” May is Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month. Estimates are that about 25 million Americans have asthma, 32 million have food allergies, and 24 million have hay fever.
