Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Command celebrated the 246th U.S. Navy birthday in a ceremony in front of the Historical Tower at Naval Support Activity Bethesda. Welcome and opening remarks were made by NML&PDC’s Commanding Officer Captain Rachel Myaing, followed by the Guest of Honor, the 8th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, John Hagan. Hagan served as MCPON for nearly six years, serving under three Chiefs of Naval Operations, Admiral Frank Kelso, Admiral Mike Boorda and Admiral Jay L. Johnson.
