(March 24, 2023) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Travis Hunter, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Rota, is announced as the 2022 Regional Naval Medical Forces Atlantic (NMFL) Sailor of the Year (SOY) onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Portsmouth-Annex, March 24, 2023. Hunter, a native of Amityville, N.Y., was one of 22 Sailors from the NMFL area of responsibility to compete against all NMRTCs, Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center, and Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command SOY winners.
