Shauna O’Sullivan, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and the Naval Medical Corps Career Planner for the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), presents during the inaugural kaizen event at Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) headquarters. Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning change for the better or continuous improvement. It is a structured approach focused on identifying and eliminating roadblocks that hinder a process.
