KATTEGAT STRAIT (June 14, 2024) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Scott Hunt, assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC), simulates providing medical care to a patient in medical triage during a mass casualty exercise aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), June 14, 2024, in the Kattegat Strait. Wasp is underway in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations in support of the exercise Baltic Operations 2024 (BALTOPS 24) as the flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (WSP ARG)-24th MEU (SOC). The WSP ARG-24th MEU (SOC) support high-end warfighting exercises while demonstrating speed and agility operating in a dynamic security environment.
