Jyl Bean, owner and handler of Isabel, a Labrador Retriever, are volunteers with the American Red Cross Animal Visitation Program at U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. The team of volunteers introduced the dogs to service members and patients at U.S. Naval Hospital Guantanamo Bay during the inaugural visit, Jan. 22, 2025. Canine visitation at the hospital will become a recurring event beginning March 13, 2025.
