AGANA HEIGHTS (Dec.17, 2025) - A U.S Navy Sailor applies a tourniquet to a simulated casualty, performing hemorrhage control during Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training with U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Guam Sailors held at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam. The Sailor reinforced lifesaving interventions in accordance with the Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia/Head injury, Pain, Antibiotics, Wounds and Splinting (MARCHPAWS) algorithm, focusing on rapid bleeding control before reassessing and continuing treatment in a safer position.
