U.S. Navy instructors and junior industrial hygiene officers (IHOs) posed for a group photo while attending the IHO indoctrination course held at the Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit (NEPMU) 2 aboard Naval Station Norfolk, March 16. The course is designed for new IHOs to include new accessions and lateral transfers from other U.S. Navy officer communities, and consists of professional military topics, industrial hygiene technical and community-specific topics, and field trips or tours to aircraft carriers, air units and a military treatment facility.
