(May 4, 2026) Sailors and staff with Naval Medical Forces Atlantic N42 Fleet Support and Logistics Team are presented the Cross-Functional Team of the Year Award by Dr. Michael McGinnis, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) executive director, during the 2026 Medical Logistics Symposium held on board Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, May 4, 2026. The team was recognized for driving logistics innovation and standardization, improving the delivery, accountability and readiness of medical materiel supporting deployed forces. The Navy Medicine Logistics Symposium aims to maintain a common operating picture and update the Medical Logistics community regarding the fiscal year 2026 Navy Medicine Campaign Order and the Navy MEDLOG goal to build a logistics system that delivers ready operational units to support the Naval Strategy.
