Bishop-Lilly was selected as a recipient of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) 2026 Dr. Delores M. Etter Top Scientists and Engineers of the Year Award in the Individual Scientist category. NMRC, headquarters of Navy Medicine Research & Development, is engaged in a broad spectrum of activity from basic science in the laboratory to field studies in austere and remote areas of the world to investigations in operational environments.
