YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 16, 2026) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Casandra Tisdale, a preventive medicine technician assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka's Directorate for Public Health (DPH), prepares a collected water sample for laboratory analysis aboard. DPH worked with Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka Public Works and environmental partners to verify the installation's drinking water system met U.S. and Japanese safety standards following water line repairs.
