*Training* Navy Capt. Heather Kirk, NMRTC Cherry Point’s Director of Medical Services, center, instructs corpsmen on the proper procedure to insert an IV needle during a skills fair conducted Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Cherry Point. The Skills Fair evaluated the knowledge of corpsmen assigned to the facility and trained them on competencies and tasks expected of them in an operational environment.
