Captain Wagner is a native of Grand Junction CO. He is a 1986 graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After graduation from USNA, Captain Wagner completed Surface Warfare Officer Training in San Diego and subsequently served as Main Propulsion Assistant aboard USS Peleliu (LHA-5) from 1987-1990.

Master Chief Burmeister is a native of Wadesville, Indiana and enlisted in the United States Navy in January 1990. She completed Recruit Training at Orlando, FL and Hospital Corpsman "A" School at Great Lakes, IL. She was a PSI at Naval Medical Clinic, Quantico, VA while awaiting Advanced Laboratory "C" School at Bethesda, MD.
