COMMAND SPONSORSHIP / WELCOME ABOARD

As an active member of an enhanced Multi-Service Market, NMRTC-PH partners with Army, Navy, and Air Force military healthcare resources located throughout the region to ensure beneficiaries experience a high quality, patient-centered, integrated healthcare system. You can expect that during your tour you may be assigned to more than one clinic. Our active duty patients come from a variety of platforms, including ships, submarines, aviation units, Marines, and other tenant shore-based commands. Additionally, we care for their family members, retirees, and their beneficiaries. NMRTC-PH is an outpatient clinic with a variety of specialty clinics, including, but not limited to, Occupational Medicine, Physical Therapy, Mental Health, and Optometry.

Relocating to a new location can feel overwhelming so please don't hesitate to reach out to your sponsor, chain of command, or the command Ombudsman with any questions. The Great Life Hawaii website is a wonderful resource to explore dining, housing, lodging, tickets and travel, and school programs.

COMMAND OMBUDSMAN

Letter from NMRTC-PH Command Ombudsman:

Aloha and Welcome to the NMRTC Pearl Harbor Ohana!
My name is Cindy 'Cin' Wiltshire and I have been appointed as your Navy Family Ombudsman. Like you, I am the spouse of an active duty Sailor stationed here at NMRTC Pearl Harbor. I am volunteering my time as the command military spouses and family representative, and the official liaison between our families and the command.

The Navy Family Ombudsman program is a Navy-wide program created to promote mission readiness through the improvement of family readiness. It is my distinct privilege to support our Sailors and their families.

If you are new to the island and/or new to Navy life, I am able to provide information, directions, and maybe able to assist with answering questions. There are many resources available that may help you in your transition. Some of the resources available are: housing, childcare, financial management, employment, stress management, car buying, deployment, relocating, or just finding something to do and many more.

I do ask that you provide and keep your contact information up to date within the command to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information. Information concerning base and command activities, events happening on or around base, monthly MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) and ITT (Information, Tickets and Travel) newsletters and more can be provided on a regular basis. It is also important to have up to date information in case of an emergency or disaster.

I can be reached via e-mail, phone and text message, or through our Facebook page by clicking here. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions, comments or concerns. My email is nhch.ombudsman1@gmail.com and phone number is (808) 271-5187. I will return all messages and emails within 24 hours depending on situations and urgency.

*Please be advised, I am required to report cases of child neglect and abuse, alleged domestic abuse, sexual assault, potential homicide/suicide, violence or life-endangering situations or other issues designated by the Commanding Officer to the Family Advocacy Representative (FAR) at the Military Family Support Center.

Again, Welcome Aboard and I look forward to meeting you!
