Course:

The course prepares Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsmen (L10A) in administrative and operational standards for preparation for surface forces Pacific and Atlantic fleet assignments. It will introduce administrative and operational measures, programs, information systems, equipment, capabilities, tactical combat casualty care, basic/advanced life support, and women and health.

Location:

Surface Warfare Medical Institute, San Diego, CA.

Primary mode of instruction :

Traditional classroom training and shipboard tour.
TAD or iSTOP orders are required.

Schedule:

Offered on Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Nov every fiscal year.
