Lapse in Appropriations:
"The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.”

NAVY DRUG SCREENING LABS

NMCFHPC functions as the Navy’s ultimate technical authority on drug testing matters for the Navy and Marine Corps. We serve as the headquarters-level technical authority on forensic drug testing and manage the Navy Drug Testing Program. The program supports mission readiness through deterrence and detection of drug abuse by military service members. NMCFHPC provides oversight for two forensic drug testing laboratories located in Great Lakes, IL, and Jacksonville, FL.
