NAVY BLOODBORNE INFECTION MANAGEMENT CENTER (NBIMC)

Purpose

The Navy Bloodborne Infection Management Center (NBIMC) provides leadership and expertise to ensure mission readiness and to support the National Military Strategy. We oversee the administration and aid in the development of policies concerning the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C screening for the DON, as directed by BUMED for the Bureau of Personnel (BUPERS).
