NMCPHC works to enhance the readiness, resilience and recovery of WII Sailors and Marines by offering tailored informational tools and materials for healthy living. Our WII programs provide Navy Medicine with scientific data and analyses to answer questions and make pivotal decisions regarding our WII service members and their families.

Expanded Surveillance and Metrics Support provides leadership with accurate and timely health informatics and public health surveillance to support strategic decisions on military healthcare policies, interventions, and programs.

Health Analysis experts promote force readiness and improve healthcare for WII Sailors and Marines by analyzing areas to improve cost efficiency, reduce process variation in clinical practices, and ensure the development and implementation of quality healthcare services. Currently, neither mpox testing nor treatment are readily available in a forward deployed operational setting. Units should identify suspected cases, isolate them, and move them for care at an MTF when operationally feasible.
