Master Chief Petty Officer Auguste is a native of Oak Grove, LA. In October 1998, she entered into the Delayed Entry Program out of Las Vegas, NV. She enlisted in the United States Navy on April 6, 1999 and attended basic training in Great Lakes, IL. Upon completion of basic training, she then attended Dental “A” School at Wichita Falls, TX. She reported to USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD-6) for her first tour of duty and deployed during the ship’s first deployment after commission from February 2000 to Auguste 2000. She advanced to the rank of Petty Officer Third Class and transferred to NAVDENCEN Gulf Coast, Pensacola, FL in November 2001. While stationed in Pensacola, FL. she served as the Leading Petty Officer for Cory Station and NATTC Dental Clinics. She was selected as Command Junior Sailor of the Year and attended training in Bethesda, Maryland as an Expanded Function Dental Technician.
 
In 2004, HMCM Auguste received orders to Branch Dental Clinic Rota, Spain where she advanced to the rank of Petty Officer Second Class and became a Hospital Corpsman during the HM and DT merger. After the merger she served as the Leading Petty Officer for Human Resources Department. In 2007, she earned an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Central Texas College and received orders to Fleet Surgical Team SIX at Virginia Beach, Va. In 2009 she attended Navy Trauma Training Center, Los Angeles in preparation for deployment. She deployed onboard USS BATAAN (LHD-5) May 2009 to December 2009 as Leading Petty Officer for the Intensive Care Unit and earned her Surface Warfare and Aviation designations. She was selected as COMPHIBRON TWO Sailor of the Quarter and advanced to the rank of Petty Officer First Class.
 
In February 2010, Master Chief Auguste transferred to Naval Postgraduate Dental School at Bethesda, MD as Leading Petty Officer for Comprehensive Dentistry. At Postgraduate Dental School, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University and was selected as Command Senior Sailor of the Year. In September 2011, her dedication and proven leadership led to her selection to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. She served as the Leading Chief Petty Officer for six dental departments and received the STEM National Women of Color, Rising Star Award.
 
In May 2013, Master Chief Auguste received orders to Fleet Surgical Team TWO as the Leading Chief Petty Officer. She deployed onboard USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3) from April 2013 to November 2013. While deployed she requalified for Surface Warfare designation and assisted the ship’s medical department.
 
In May 2015 she received orders to Naval Medical Center, San Diego. After reporting onboard she was selected to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. While serving at Naval Medical Center San Diego she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Directorate of Surgical Services, Directorate of Nursing Services and Senior Enlisted Leader Naval Branch Health Clinic, Naval Base San Diego. Master Chief Auguste, graduated Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA) March 2018. January 2021 she reported to Naval Hospital Rota, Spain as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Directorate of Dental Services and was selected to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. She is currently stationed at Navy Medicine Readiness & Training Command Yokosuka, Japan, billeted as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Directorate for Administration and serving as Command Master Chief.
 
HMCM(SW/AW) Auguste has been awarded the Navy Commendation Medal(4th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal(6th award), Good Conduct Medal(7th award), National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal (2nd award), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal(1st award), Sea Service Ribbon(4th award) and Overseas Ribbon(5th award).
