Master Chief Hospital Corpsman (FMF) Francisco Moreno 

Command Master Chief, U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Guantanamo Bay

Master Chief Francisco Moreno III enlisted in June 1998. After completing basic training at Recruit Training Command; Chicago,  Illinois, he reported to the Naval Training Center, Chicago, Illinois, where he completed Hospital Corpsman “A” School. 

His sea duty assignments include 1st Force Service Support Group, Combat Servies Support Detachment 16, Yuma, Arizona (2002-2005). 2nd Marine Division Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (2009 – 2012). 3rd Marine Air Wing, Marine Air Group 39, in Camp Pendleton, California as the Senior Enlisted Leader from (2019-2022). 

Other duty station assignments include Naval Medical Center Balboa, in San Diego, California (1998 – 2002); Branch Health Clinic Fort Worth, Texas as the Leading Petty Officer for Preventive Medicine (2006 – 2009); Forward Deployed Preventive Medicine Unit 2 in  Norfolk, Virginia from (20012 – 2015); on to special programs Recruit training Command Great Lakes, Illinois as a Recruit Division  Commander from (2015 – 2019); Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command Portsmouth, Virginia as Senior Enlisted Leader from (2022- 2024).  

In January 2025, he reported as the Command Master Chief of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Guantanamo Bay Cuba.  

His academic achievements include a Bachelors in Sports and Health Science from American Military University.  He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Gray Group 244 (2021). 

His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5 awards), Navy and Marine Corps  Achievement Medal (6 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
