Letter from your Ombudsman

Dear Family and Friends of Naval Medical Forces Atlantic,
NMFL Command Ombudsman
Welcome to the NMFL family! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Emily Summers and it is my pleasure to serve as your command ombudsman.

As many of you already know, ombudsmen are here to assist Navy families. We act as the liaison between the Command and the families of our sailors. You are so important to us. We are your resources for connection to information about the command and community resources that are available to you.

As the ombudsman, I am here to help support the command’s mission with all the challenges we may face. I am committed to serving you with the highest standards of professionalism, patience, reliability, and confidentiality. It is an honor and a privilege to serve the command and it’s families.

Please reach out to me if I can be of any assistance to you. Your questions, comments and concerns will be held in the strictest confidence, within the guidelines defined in OPNAVINST 1750.1G CH-2,  the Navy Family Ombudsman instruction.

I am available 24 hours a day for emergencies at 850-375-4825. For routine calls please leave a message at 757-953-0472 and I will get back to you within 24 hours or you can email me at nmflombudsman@gmail.com.

Standing by, Ready to Serve,
Emily Summers
