Who is NMRLC Detachment Fort Detrick? We are Medical Service Corps Officers, Supply Corps Officers, Sailors, Analysts, Contracting Specialists, Clinical Engineers, Biomedical Equipment Technicians, Support Staff and Contractors. We are all Logisticians. We support Navy Medicine's mission every day, and we "Keep Med Gear at the Tip of the Spear."

Our mission is to deliver world class medical-readiness logistics solutions to military medicine.  Throughout a 170 year rich history, our mission remains an honorable one that directly supports this nation’s expeditionary and operating forces.
 

Readiness is our Mission:  We support a ‘ready medical force’ and a ‘medically ready force’.

We are a vital and critical mission enabler for medical readiness.  Without logistics success, there cannot be mission success.  We achieve mission success by the actions of our people.  Every member of the command has something to offer, something to give, something to contribute.  All are invaluable to this organization and all are entitled to be treated with respect, fairness and dignity.  We will not tolerate anything less.
 
One of the greatest attributes of our command is our ability to accomplish amazing actions without necessarily receiving guidance to do so.  We simply do it!  All staff at NMRLC Detachment are expected to take the initiative and help our customers and each other. 

We do not let our shipmates, civilian or military, step into danger.  Short cuts that undermine safety are never acceptable.  We all share this responsibility and I expect that you will keep each other safe.
