NSSR

The Director, is responsible for coordinating, communicating and representing the Navy Medical Department's logistics input, position and policy pertaining to logistical and financial support.

Designated as the functional proponent and Program Manager for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) program, Standard Procurement System (SPS), and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).

Navy Medicine Department's logistics representative in all matters pertaining to the integration of all systems into Naval activities, and functionally pertinent DMLSS, SPS and PIEE solutions into Fleet, Fleet Marine Force and Fleet Hospital Automated Information Systems (AIS).

Serves as Naval Medical Logistics Command's technical information source for all Department of Defense (DoD) AIS with logistics applications.
Serve as Navy Medicine's Senior Service Rep for all IT Logistics Systems
Acts as lead representative in all matters pertaining to the integration of medical logistics system (DMLSS, SPS and PIEE) solutions into Naval activities world-wide.
