HMCS (FMF/SW/AW) Michael D. Bonner 

Senior Enlisted Leader, Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit TWO

Michael D. Bonner was born in Monterey, California and enlisted in the United States Navy in June 2004.  After Pass and Review at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois he attended and graduated Hospital Corpsman “A” School.
 
Senior Chief Bonners’ operational tours include the Georgia Sustainment and Stability Operations Program; Republic of Georgia. The USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD6). OEF11; II MEF Fwd RC/SW Afghanistan. Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), and the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN75)
 
His Shore Commands include, Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, California. Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida. Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida and the Navy Environmental & Preventive Medicine Unit TWO where he currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader.
 
Senior Chief Bonner holds a Bachelor of Science from Trident University. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy class 242 (Orange), and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course class 110.
 
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3rd award), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5th award), and numerous other personal and unit awards.
 
Senior Chief Bonner is married to Mrs. Erica Bonner and has one son, Alyas J. Bonner.
