Stigma

Treatment, rehabilitation, or recovery from a wound, illness, or injury can be different for every service member. Treatments available for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are effective and help is available. You are not alone. The term "recovery" can have many meanings and we understand that service members may be at different stages of recovery. Some service members may identify that they have symptoms of PTSD and recognize it's time to seek professional assistance. Others may be undergoing talk therapy or taking medication. There are also those who may have completed certain treatments, and are practicing good self-care and using positive coping skills to manage their PTSD. We understand that everyone's path to recovery may be different and we are here to help provide you with resources to assist you while you positively cope with your symptoms, engage in positive self-care, and work towards reaching your health and wellness goals for the future.
