Naval Medical Forces Pacific Regional Map

As Navy Medicine's health care system in the Pacific Rim, NMFP’s subordinate commands included all Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NMRTC) and dental centers on the West Coast and in Hawaii, Japan, and Guam. 
 
In August 2015, NMFP assumed cognizance over Navy Medicine’s research and development enterprise, which is headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland at the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC). In addition to NMRC, Navy Medicine’s research arm has seven subordinate Echelon 5 laboratories situated around the globe.
