Resource Management

The Resources and Requirements Directorate is the primary resource management and fiscal advisor to the Naval Medical Forces Pacific Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff (COS), headquarters personnel, and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) commanding officers.

The Directorate also:

Implements principles, policies, and procedures for effective financial resource management
Provides resource planning and analysis support to the NMFP
Monitors subordinate commands within the region
Maintains financial control, jurisdiction, and statutory responsibility subject to 31 U.S. Code, Section 1517 and 1301(a), for all appropriations issued and resource authorizations

The Deputy Chief of Staff for Resources and Requirements (M8/M9) is dual-hatted as the NMFP Comptroller and, in that capacity as special assistant, reports directly to the Commander.
