The Equipment & Technology Management team provides assistance in the management, accountability and maintenance of the BSO-18 personal property and medical equipment. The goal is to provide the NAVAL warrior with healthcare readiness and achieve unrivaled stewardership of government property in accordance with DoD and DON policies.

We provide the following centralized information and support to the Navy Equipment Manager’s and Equipment Staff in support of medical equipment property management and accountability:
 

• Administer BSO-wide day-to-day personal property management oversight. 
• Conduct training through various workshops and scheduled activities. 
• Create and maintain policy guidance for new and emerging programs throughout Navy Medicine. 
• Monitor Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support-Equipment Module (DMLSS-EM) usage, the current Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) for Navy Medicine. 
• Monitor inventory process to ensure physical inventories are conducted as required.
• Compile and validate inventory results and submit report to BUMED M4 following the closing of inventory cycle.
