Business Operations

The Business Operations Directorate (M4/6) is responsible for advising the Commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific on logistics, mission assurance, facilities, information management, and health and safety support to subordinate commands, staff directorates, and special assistants. The Directorate also provides strategic guidance and operational oversight of acquisitions and contracting, equipment repair, medical equipment inventory, and supply chain management.

Additionally, the Directorate also:

Ensures the MFP regional facilities infrastructure is maintained and developed according to the needs of the Navy
Provides logistical support in an efficient, fiscally responsible manner; and installations are safe, healthy, and supportive
Provides technical support and oversight of subordinate activities physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection program and is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of training, exercises, and sustainment plans.
Oversees the regional security management program consisting of two distinct components personnel security and security management of classified information
