Description:
Health Promotion (HP) Advanced provides attendees with the skills to plan, implement, and evaluate their command’s HP Program. It expands upon the knowledge-based content in the Navy Health Promotion Basics course, and introduces the skills required to run a HP Program. Topics covered in HP Advanced include developing a program plan, programming content, and scheduling and marketing events, as well as a deeper look at the HP focus areas.

In-person trainings, when available, are one day from 0800-1630. Virtual trainings are two days long with four hours of instructions on each day. See HPW Training calendar for a list of dates.

Currently, neither mpox testing nor treatment are readily available in a forward deployed operational setting. Units should identify suspected cases, isolate them, and move them for care at an MTF when operationally feasible.
