Assignment of Command Sponsor

Sponsors are chosen as soon as you are identified in the command EDVR, or ODCR, as a prospective gain. Your sponsor will send you a letter that will include his/her address and phone number and general information about the area.

Welcome Aboard Package

Check-In Procedures

You are required to report to Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit Six within 24 hours of arrival on the island. The effective date to start your entitlements (i.e. Temporary Lodging Allowance, Hawaii based BAH, and COLA) is based according to your report date to the unit.

Currently, neither mpox testing nor treatment are readily available in a forward deployed operational setting. Units should identify suspected cases, isolate them, and move them for care at an MTF when operationally feasible.
