Administration

Administration provides support for Naval Medical Forces Atlantic headquarters staff and for the Naval Medical Forces Atlantic area of operations by receiving and processing award submissions from the region, including Navy Department Awards Web Service submission; processing correspondence coming from the region for endorsement; processing and disseminating taskers from the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery and to the region; as well other administrative functions.

Internal Roles and Functions:

• Review, edit, and route correspondence going to the commander, chief of staff, and command master chief
• Provide pay and personnel support for headquarters military personnel
• Maintain the command’s records, directives,  forms, awards programs, and EVALs/FITREPs
• Generate and disseminate taskers requested from HQ subject matter experts

External Roles and Functions:

• Receive and process awards submissions from the region, including Navy Department Awards Web Services submission
• Process correspondence coming from the region (after routing through appropriate codes and POCs) for endorsement
• Process and disseminate DoN Tracker taskers from BUMED and to the region
• Provide assistance with pay documents during evacuations
