Medical Operations and Plans (M3/M5)

M3/5 Medical Operations and Plans develops, analyzes, and  coordinates all healthcare operations for NMFL.

Internal Roles and Functions:

• Programmatic management of all clinical  programs and administrative and business/analytic programs supporting clinical services
• Track and maintain Health Insurance Privacy and Portability Act (HIPAA) training and compliance

External Roles and Functions:

• Provide consultation and oversight of clinical operations throughout the region via the: senior medical officer, senior nurse executive, senior dental executive, senior mental health executive, senior pharmacy executive, regional medical physicist and radiation health officer, chief medical  information officer, public health emergency officer, and other program managers and subject matter experts.
