The Naval Infectious Diseases Diagnostic Laboratory (NIDDL) serves in the detection and identification of high-risk and emerging infectious diseases, provides reach back support, and conducts surveillance efforts for Department of Defense (DoD) frontline providers and public health professionals in support of force health protection for active-duty military members and MHS beneficiaries.
