Data Submission Requirements for Requesting a Health Risk Assessment or Consultation from an Exposure Incident
Purpose
The Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) is committed to protecting the health and well-being of military personnel and their families by providing expert guidance in disease prevention, environmental health, and human health promotion. Ensuring access to safe conditions—such as clean air, safe drinking water, and a healthy living environment—is central to that mission.
The link below identifies the essential information related to a known or suspected environmental release, such as a chemical spill, leak, or other contamination event, that may have resulted in an exposure incident. The information you provide will help assess whether the release poses a risk to human health or the environment, and whether further investigation or action is needed to ensure safety.
NMCFHPC will review the information provided in this checklist and determine if a risk assessment is required. If required, NMCFHPC will conduct a risk assessment and advise on next steps, based on the results of the risk assessment.
